Mr B S Gambhir in the presence of parents, teachers and students handed over the prize to Gopala krishna Bhat,the school teacher . The function was arranged by the students.

His full name was Vallabhbhai Patel. He played a leading role in the Indian freedom struggle and became the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. He is credited with achieving political integration of India.

ತರಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬನೆ ' ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ತರಕಾರಿ ತೋಟದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಾಲಾ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ .

         ಶಾಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕಲೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು 24-10-2014 ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು   . ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ           ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು .

ದೀಪಾವಳಿ  ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವ

  ಎರಡು ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತವಾಗಿವೆ:

• ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ಸೀತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ಮರಳಿದ ಸಮಯವೆಂದು ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ
• ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಯ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದಿನ (ಚತುರ್ದಶಿ) ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ನರಕಾಸುರನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ ದಿನ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
•   .ಸಿಕ್ಖ್ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬ. ೧೬೨೦ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಖರ ಆರನೆಯ ಗುರು ಹರಗೋಬಿಂದ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಗ್ವಾಲಿಯರ್‌ನ ಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ      ಬಂಧಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ೫೨ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ತಂದ ದಿನವೆಂದು ಈ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
• ದೀಪಾವಯು ಜೈನ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡೆಯ ತೀರ್ಥಂಕರ ಮಹಾವೀರರು ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಚತುರ್ದಶಿಯಂದು (ಕ್ರಿ.ಪೂ ೫೨೭ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ೧೫) ಪಾವಾಪುರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಕ್ಷ ಹೊಂದಿದ ದಿನವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.
•  ಬಲಿ-ವಾಮನರ ಕಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿಯ ತ್ಯಾಗವನ್ನು ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಯ ಮರು ದಿನ ಬಲಿಪಾಡ್ಯಮಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದ
• ತಮಸೋಮಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಗಮಯ .      ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಮನದ ದೀಪ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸಲಿ.

On October 16, people around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate hunger in our lifetime.
